New Hyundai Elantra Features Interior Upgrades and a New, Saucy Suspension

Drivers and passengers can access their favorite music and apps via an 8-inch touchscreen and enjoy their favorite podcasts thanks to an Infinity premium audio system with eight speakers, a subwoofer and Clari-Fi Music Restoration Technology. The tech suite also includes Blue Link Connected Care to ensure that help is always just a click away if you need it.
Other fantastic features are available, including a power tilt-and-slide sunroof, blind spot detection with rear cross-traffic alert, dual automatic temperature control, an auto-dimming rear view mirror with Homelink and compass, and luxe carpeted floor mats.
However, many drivers seem to agree that the real star of the show is the Elantra’s powertrain. The vehicle is powered by a 1.6 liter Turbo GDI four-cylinder engine, capable of creating more than 200 horsepower and 190 lb-ft of torque. Drivers can opt for either a six-speed manual transmission or an extra saucy seven-speed dual clutch transmission with paddle shifters.
Combined with the new Elantra’s best-in-class suspension, both transmissions deliver a remarkably smooth ride. The vehicle is outfitted with an exclusively independent multi-link rear suspension (seriously, you won’t find anything like it elsewhere) which elevates the Elantra’s unique bodywork and model-specific interior appointments to provide a driving experience unlike any other.
