Rosen Hyundai Donates to Help Save the Founders’ Day Fireworks in Algonquin
Here at Rosen Hyundai, we care about our customers and our community both inside and outside the dealership. That’s why when we found out that the Algonquin Founder’s Day Fireworks had the possibility of being removed from the Fox River, we wanted to help take action. We donated $500 to the online fundraiser, and now we’re happy to announce that they have reached their goal of $16,000 to keep the fireworks running!
The Algonquin Founders’ Days Festival first started in 1960 with a group of local businessmen who wanted to celebrate the founding of their great community. We’re now on our 55th annual celebration, and the festival is better than ever!
This year, the Founders’ Days will be held July 23 through July 26, and events include the Special Needs Carnival, Cardboard Boat Regatta, Children’s Games, Market & Bazaar, the Bake-Off, live music, one of the longest standing parades in the state, Bag Tournaments, and of course, the Fireworks Spectacular. The show is scheduled from 9 p.m. on the 26th.
So be sure to come on out and enjoy the display this year, and know that the Algonquin community all came together to make it possible.
