Sneak Peek at the 2018 Hyundai Accent Sedan
Oh man, there is some awesome news from the Hyundai front. That is to say, recently spied photos began circulating the internet of the all new 2018 Hyundai Accent sedan, and we could not be happier with its design. The automaker has recently started a more mature overhaul of most of their vehicles, as we have seen already with the Elantra, but these photos mark the first that we have seen of the more mature 2018 Hyundai Accent. The result is an Accent that looks very much like an upgraded version of the current model in that the front and rear ends looking more like the recently redesigned Elantra.
Of course, everything we know right now about the 2018 Hyundai Accent is just hearsay, just Internet rumors, but these rumors come from good sources. All in all, you can expect many aesthetic upgrades that hint at a more mature model vehicle than the previous generation. And too, speaking of the previous generation, the 2017 Accent’s engines were nothing to sneeze at, so to speak, and we can more than likely expect such a thing to transfer over to the 2018 model. The 2017 Accent offered a few engine models, the first of which is a four cylinder that pushed around 137 horsepower. The second engine option is another four cylinder, but this one pushed something along the lines of 201 horsepower. Of course, both of these options was coupled with either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission system. Either way, this was a very successful plan that you can assume Hyundai will carry over into their 2018 model.
Another rumor that is making its way around with regard to the 2018 Hyundai Accent is that the automaker will only be offering the vehicle in sedan form. This means that the five door model will no longer be available. In its place, however, it is assumed that Hyundai could push a B-segment crossover, similar to the likes of the Kia Soul, with a more boxy design that will hopefully attract younger buyers to the Korean brand.
In any event, you can certainly bet that we are very much excited for the new Hyundai 2018 Accent. With the far more mature direction the automaker seems to be going at this point, it seems a pretty safe bet to say that this new Accent model will have us all smiling.
