For a Hyundai Accent, Elantra, or a Hyundai Azera, the front and rear wheels should read about 33 psi when properly inflated. Anything lower or higher might put your tires at risk.
Moving on to some crossovers and SUV’s. The Santa Fe both sets of tires should be at 33 psi after tire pressure is fixed. For the Santa Fe Sport, tire pressure is one higher at 34 psi.
The Hyundai Velsoter’s front and rear wheels are 33 psi, and the Hyundai Tucson wheels read at 35 psi when you inflate them properly.
If your new Hyundai model is not listed, be sure to check your car’s manual book for the correct tire pressure or ask someone in our Rosen Hyundai service department.
Tires might not be the most eye-catching thing about a vehicle, but it certainty is important to keep them properly inflated to prevent them from wearing down easier. If you don’t keep up with your car’s tire pressure, it can lead to damage on other parts of your car later on down the road.
Incorrect tire pressure, being too high or too low, is very dangerous. Low air tires are more vulnerable to blowing out or going flat. Too much air in your tires is dangerous because you can lead to slipping or sliding- as well as blowing out.
