What’s New for These Hyundai Models in 2019
Hyundai has a lot to say about what’s new for our 2019 lineup of vehicles. For one, the Veloster has been completely redesigned and the Elantra also had a styling update. In addition, the Sonata had some changes to its trim levels and the Santa Fe Sport was renamed to the Santa Fe XL. Next year the Hyundai Palisade will arrive to take the place of the Santa Fe. Ioniq
- Available in electric, plug-in hybrid, and a hybrid model that’s the most fuel efficient in America
- Active safety technology readily available
Santa Fe and Santa Fe XL
- New Santa Fe with inline-4 and turbo 4 engines, plus available all-wheel drive
- Standard active safety technology
- Santa Fe XL continues as a three-row model
Sonata
- More available trim levels to include SE, SEL, Eco, Sport, and Limited
- Emergency braking features more widely available
- Active safety technology more widely available
Tucson
- Updated styling, inside and out
- Standard inline-4 engine for more added power
- Updated entertainment system with both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- New to Tucson, standard emergency braking
