For the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Hyundai will launch its Goal of the Century campaign, which aims to unite the world for sustainability. This ultimate sports stage is the perfect place to unite football fans for the future of our planet. Although the world’s greatest sporting event is not meant to be the climax of our journey, it will be a milestone on the way to a united world for sustainability.
Making Sustainability Mobile at the FIFA World Cup
As FIFA’s sustainability partner, Hyundai will provide a fleet of sustainable vehicles for the tournament—for a total of 592 official vehicles. These vehicles will include 422 passenger vehicles and 170 commercial vehicles to transport participating member associations, VIPs, and event officials during the event and festivities.
Hyundai will promote the goals of sustainability and BTS Hyundai Goal of the Century campaign with these vehicles as at least half of the passenger cars and a proportion of the commercial vehicles will be eco-friendly models. These sustainable vehicles include the IONIQ 5 and Santa Fe Hybrid.
