The 2020 Hyundai small SUV<\/a>, the Kona, comes in various trim levels and configurations. There are five total trim levels, with three additional trim levels for the Hyundai Kona Electric Vehicle (EV) configurations<\/a>. To determine which model is best for you, here is a 2020 Kona trim comparison<\/a>:<\/p>\n

2020 Kona SE<\/b><\/h3>\n

The SE trim level features a 147-horsepower 2.0-liter I-4 engine along with a six-speed automatic transmission. It comes standard with four-wheel drive with a fuel efficiency of 27 mpg city and 33 mpg highway, but it does have the option of adding on all-wheel drive.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Every Kona trim level comes standard with lane keep assist, forward collision avoidance, and a driver attention warning. Additionally, connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the SE comes with a 7-inch color Infotainment System touchscreen.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

On the exterior, the SE features 16-inch alloy wheels, and it is available in seven paint colors: Ultra Black, Chalk White, Sonic Silver, Sunset Orange, Pulse Red, Thunder Gray, and Surf Blue.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2020 Kona SEL<\/b><\/h3>\n

On this level, you\u2019ll get more safety features, such as blind-spot collision warning, lane change assist, and rear cross-traffic alert.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

It also offers a premium experience with features like heated side mirrors, heated seats, an external temperature display, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter, and SiriusXM compatibility. In terms of Hyundai Kona SEL colors<\/a>, these include the same seven colors available for the SE listed above with an added exterior upgrade of 17-inch alloy wheels, roof side rails, and rear privacy glass.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2020 Kona SEL Plus\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

Of course, the SEL Plus shares most features with the base SEL, but it adds a few extras through the Hyundai Kona tech package<\/a>. Upgraded features include a power sunroof (not available on lower trims), driver\u2019s seat power adjustability, and a premium Infinity audio system, which has an eight-speaker stereo.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2020 Kona Limited\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

This trim level is where the Kona reaches new heights. Internally, the Kona Limited<\/a> features a 1.6-liter turbo I-4 engine with 175 horsepower and 195-lbs. of torque. This engine produces great fuel efficiency with 28 mpg city and 32 mpg highway. The exterior is upgraded with 18-inch alloy wheels and LED head- and taillights, while the interior features include leather seats, automatic climate control, and an addition of Lime Twist to the color palette.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2020 Kona Ultimate\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

This trim level offers some impressive electronic features, such as a parking distance warning, high-beam assist, and 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, a head-up display, pedestrian detection, and forward collision avoidance.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This most exciting feature available for this trim level, though, is smart cruise control, which is a new addition for the 2020 model. Smart Cruise Control combines the functionality of any typical cruise control system with added radar sensors to help your vehicle maintain a fixed distance behind the vehicle you\u2019re following.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

2020 Kona Electric\u00a0<\/b><\/h3>\n

The Kona is also available in three EV trim levels: the SEL, Limited, and Ultimate. In general, these trim levels follow the forms offered in the gasoline-based models, but the Ultimate trim level gets some additions: rain-sensing wipers, ventilated front seats, a 10.3-inch touchscreen,\u00a0 and the Infinity Sound System.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
