However, Hyundai intends on backing up such a claim, and the results of the new <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosenhyundai.com\/2017-hyundai-elantra.htm\" target=\"_blank\">2017 Hyundai Elantra<\/a> have definitely shown to do just that.<\/p>\n<p>Now, back when Hyundai first began selling vehicles in the United States around thirty years ago, no one really expected the small Korean automaker to have much of an impact on an industry dominated by such titans as BMW, Toyota, Fiat-Chrysler, Honda, Ford, and Volkswagen (just to name a few). And everyone was wrong. Today, Hyundai can count itself among those titans, holding the spot of the world\u2019s fifth-largest automaker that has passed over ten million automobiles sold in the United States. And, for most of this journey, the Hyundai Elantra has played a very significant role.<\/p>\n<p>First launched in Japan in 1990 under the banner of the Hyundai Lantra (later being renamed the \u201cElantra\u201d in 2001), this compact sedan immediately began turning heads. As of now, the Elantra holds the honor of being Hyundai\u2019s all around best selling vehicle due to its affordable price, great safety rating, and high-end investment value. So, given this quite impressive pedigree, you can bet that when Hyundai began approaching the concept of their 2017 edition of the Elantra, they where handling such a thing with white gloves, so to speak. And, by the looks of things, they very much succeeded.<\/p>\n<p>The new 2017 Hyundai Elantra is a bit longer and wider than previous generations (20 millimeters longer and 25 millimeters wider to be exact), which obviously means the new vehicle offers increased rear seat legroom, a more spacious truck space, as well as a more spacious cabin. To some, the overall look of the car might be considered a bit toned down from the previous versions, but this is by no means a negative thing. That is to say, the new 2017 Hyundai Elantra looks far more elegant and classy than its previous incarnations. In the past, some of the biggest complaints with regard to the Hyundai Elantra had to do with its fairly noticeable noisy interior cabin, shaky handling, and lackluster steering. Hyundai took these complaints to heart, and for the new 2017 Elantra they are pretty much extinct.<\/p>\n<p>With regard to price, the all new 2017 Hyundai Elantra with a six-speed manual transmission has a base price of $15,999, which is by all means affordable.
