Such a thing is always a win for the customer, who gets the benefits of a dependable midsize sedan with added goodies and price cuts that, ultimately, can\u2019t be beat. Such a thing is certainly the case when it comes to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosenhyundai.com\/new-inventory\/index.htm?search=&amp;year=2017&amp;make=Hyundai&amp;model=Sonata&amp;saveFacetState=true&amp;lastFacetInteracted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-model-3\">new 2017 Hyundai Sonata<\/a>, which is making its way to dealerships worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>One of the biggest differences with regard to the Hyundai Sonata has to do with a significant price cut on certain models of the newer 2017 model. That is to say, for example, Hyundai has brought the price of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosenhyundai.com\/new-inventory\/index.htm?search=&amp;year=2017&amp;make=Hyundai&amp;model=Sonata&amp;trim=Sport+2.0T&amp;saveFacetState=true&amp;lastFacetInteracted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-trim-4\">2017 Sonata Sport 2.0T<\/a> trim down to $27,435, which includes the destination charge. That knocks a huge chunk ($2,325 to be exact) off the original asking price of previous models in this trim. The base trim price has dropped as well (though not as significantly as other trims), with a starting price of $22,435, which includes an $835 destination fee, seeing a $150 price decrease from the base model <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosenhyundai.com\/new-inventory\/index.htm?search=&amp;year=2016&amp;make=Hyundai&amp;model=Sonata&amp;saveFacetState=true&amp;lastFacetInteracted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-year-1\">2016 Hyundai Sonata<\/a>. Additionally, Hyundai have cut $600 off the price of their 2017 Sonata Eco, dropping such a thing to $23,960.<\/p>\n<p>Under the hood, the base model 2017 Hyundai Sonata comes with a 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine that pushes roughly 185 horsepower. This is coupled with a six speed automatic transmission. Too, the 2017 Sonata hybrid and plug-in hybrid models also come standard with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay technologies.<\/p>\n<p>Of course, things have looked a bit on the down side not just for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rosenhyundai.com\/new-inventory\/index.htm?search=&amp;year=2017&amp;make=Hyundai&amp;model=Elantra&amp;model=Sonata&amp;saveFacetState=true&amp;lastFacetInteracted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-model-0\">Hyundai\u2019s midsize sedans<\/a>, but for the entire midsize sedan segment, as customers are leaning more toward SUVs. Hyundai specifically sold 11,854 units in the United States back in June of 2016; this is down quite a bit from the 15,199 unites that the automaker sold in June of 2015.<\/p>\n<p>In any case, this model of the Hyundai Sonata is far more quiet and far more refined than its previous generation model, so we will see if this is the shot in the arm Hyundai needs to get their midsize sedan stalwart up in sales.
