The new Hyundai Accent<\/a> may be $250 more expensive than its predecessor, but the automaker has packed it full of new features that are absolutely worth more than the increased price tag would have you believe. The 4-door sedan has immediately made waves on our lot thanks to its elegant, sporty appearance, the unique amount of power under its hood and its emphasis on security, entertainment and luxury.<\/p>\n

The 2018 Accent\u2019s gorgeous exterior is truly something special. The vehicle is outfitted with a gleaming chrome hexagonal grille, LED lighting fixtures and ultra-high quality mirrors. Car critics have compared the new sedan to a \u201csemi-fastback Sonata\u201d due to its sporty body design. While the new Accent is certainly a little more edgy in its appearance than the Sonata, it still gives off a vibe of understated modernity.<\/p>\n

Inside, the new Accent continues to impress. The vehicle\u2019s cabin is exceptionally roomy, with large, plush seating designed to hold up to five passengers. Plus, the new Hyundai<\/a> is available with an optional 7.0-inch central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.<\/p>\n

Of course, the Accent is impressive overall\u2013not just thanks to its interior and exterior design. Under the hood, the Accent takes things to a whole new level with its 1.6-liter inline four- cylinder engine. The engine is capable of producing 130 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque, which should be plenty for the average city driver. The car comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission and an option to upgrade to a six-speed automatic.<\/p>\n

The new Accent is also remarkably efficient, with an EPA fuel-economy rating of 32\/28\/38 mpg when utilizing the automatic transmission. The manual transmission is rated at 31\/28\/27.<\/p>\n
