The Hyundai Veloster has always been a unique vehicle. It has a unique design that clearly has its own personality. For 2019, however, Hyundai made some significant changes to the Veloster. Let\u2019s take a closer look at what they did.<\/p>\n

According to Motor Trend<\/a>, \u201cHyundai kept the Veloster\u2019s unusual three-door setup, with one door on the driver\u2019s side and two on the right side. But looking from the side profile, you\u2019ll realize plenty of other things have changed. First of all, the new Veloster\u2019s roof slopes down less sharply now. You can see this change in the shape of the side windows. The roofline has also been lowered, and the nose appears lower and longer than before. Overall, the look is slightly softer.\u201d<\/p>\n

Motor Trend also points out<\/a> that the updated Veloster gets Hyundai\u2019s cascading grille that wasn\u2019t on the previous model, as well as new headlights and taillights.<\/p>\n

The outside of the vehicle isn\u2019t all that has been updated for the 2019 Veloster. The interior has also seen some upgrades like a newly designed center console, a square infotainment system and more.<\/p>\n

Also new for 2019 is the Veloster N. Car and Driver<\/a> tells us, \u201cThe first fruit of Hyundai\u2019s new N performance sub-brand is here in the form of the 2019 Veloster N. With up to 275 horsepower from a turbocharged inline-four, a sportier chassis, and aggressive looks, it brings Hyundai\u2019s hot-hatch aspirations to their highest level yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
